A BOTOX® treatment typically takes approximately 10 minutes. It is not necessary to anaesthetise the area to be treated due to minimal discomfort, although we do use a topical anaesthetic to reduce any discomfort associated with the procedure. BOTOX® is injected into the area affected by visible lines with a very thin needle. The BOTOX® causes the muscles initiating the lines and wrinkles to relax which reduces the appearance of undesirable wrinkles and lines on the skin. The skin’s reaction to the muscles is what commonly causes wrinkles. The results of the BOTOX® treatment may be seen in as little as 10 days following treatment. Dynamic lines are created when the muscles under the skin of the face, such as those in the forehead or around the eyes, contract and cause your skin to fold and develop frown lines, horizontal forehead lines, or crow's feet lines. These type of lines can be reduced and later even eliminated by Botox and Dysport injections.Static lines are lines that exist even when your muscles are at rest. These lines are the result of aging and repetitive movement of the underlying facial muscles over the years, as well as the loss of collagen and elastin in the skin. These types of lines can be improved with Botox and Dysport injections, however; they may need to be additionally treated with fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane for optimal correction.

You should not be treated if you have an infection at the site of injection or are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Serious allergic reactions and cardiac events have been rarely reported with high dosage of Botox or Dysport injection. Dermal Fillers
